四月的愛丁堡,風里裹著青草的氣息,草地上已泛出鮮嫩的綠意,一場來自千年前中國宋代的春日茶宴,悄然鋪展開來。

In April, Edinburgh's wind carries the scent of fresh grass. The meadows are turning green. And in this soft spring light, a tea banquet from Song Dynasty China quietly unfolds.

 

在宋代,茶從不是簡單的飲品,而是刻在骨子里的生活美學,是文人雅士安放閑情的精神寄托。那時的春日,人們總愛設(shè)一場茶宴,邀三五知己,賞漫天繁花,品時令點心,在茶湯的清醇與器物的雅致中,閑話浮生,將平凡的春日,過成一首詩。

Back in the Song era, tea was never just a drink. It was a lifestyle. An art. A way to rest the mind. In spring, people held tea gatherings with a few friends. They enjoyed flowers, ate seasonal sweets, and sipped tea from beautiful cups. An ordinary spring day became a poem.

中式傳統(tǒng)茶點


如今,那個時代獨有的風雅被完整地搬到了愛丁堡的春光里。支好茶攤,擺上手作花酥與古樸茶器,原本匆匆而過的人們,竟紛紛駐足。那些小巧玲瓏的中式點心,以面粉、油脂為料,經(jīng)多道工序搟折烘烤而成,形態(tài)飽滿,線條流暢,像極了春日的繁花,也成為了吸引路人目光的第一道風景,不少人主動走上前,好奇地打量著這些手工中式傳統(tǒng)點心,小心翼翼地品嘗著,眉眼間盡是驚喜。

Today, that long-lost elegance has been brought to life again on an Edinburgh spring day. A tea stall, handmade flower-shaped pastries and old tea bowls. People walking by stop to look. The little pastries are plump and smooth, just like spring flowers. They catch everyone's eyes. They check out the handmade Chinese pastries and take a small bite. Their faces light up with surprises.

接著,他們看到了茶。細膩的末茶在盞中慢慢擊拂而出,泡沫綿密如雪,翠色盈盈。一位路過的克羅地亞友人第一次見到這樣的茶湯,驚嘆道:“我從未見過這樣的技藝,今天得此一見實在是太開心了!” 這便是宋代獨有的點茶,其所用的末茶與抹茶頗為相似,而抹茶最初正是源于此。

Then, they notice the tea. Fine powdered tea is whisked slowly in a bowl. The froth builds up, soft as snow. A visitor from Croatia, seeing this for the first time, exclaims, "I have never seen it before. I'm so happy to see this today!" This is the Song dynasty art of whisked tea,the same tea that later became known as matcha, which originally came from here.
