But almost no one guesses that higher up, halfway to the summit, another waterfall is hidden — much less known, but no less beautiful. And today we decided to take our camera and go there to show this hidden corner to those who have never heard of it.

You know what? This place is truly breathtakingly beautiful. When we finally reached the upper waterfall, we gasped: water flows directly over mossy stones, around us is dense greenery, the air is fresh and humid — as if you have stepped into a primeval forest from ancient legends. 

然而，這樣的美麗是有代價(jià)的：沒有任何人提醒過我們，這條路會有多么艱難。通往瀑布的小徑是一場真正的考驗(yàn)：它時(shí)而急劇上升，時(shí)而猛然下坡，在樹根和巨石間蜿蜒，有些地方甚至完全消失了。

But this beauty comes at a price. No one, absolutely no one warned us about how difficult the path would be. The trail leading to the waterfall is a real test: it sharply goes up, then dives down, winds between deadwood and boulders, and in some places it disappears altogether.

 

最可怕的是濕滑的泥土和潮濕的石頭。剛下過雨之后，每一步都像在碰運(yùn)氣：腳不時(shí)地往前打滑，你只好抓住樹枝才不致摔倒。你只能慢慢地、小心翼翼地挪步，與其說是在欣賞風(fēng)景，不如說是在時(shí)刻提防著自己腳下的每一步。

The worst part is the slippery ground and wet stones. After a recent rain, every step becomes a gamble: your foot keeps sliding forward, and you grab onto branches to keep from falling. You have to walk slowly, carefully placing your feet, and instead of simply enjoying the scenery, you are constantly watching every move you make.
